Heritage & Parks
A visit to Scarborough must include a visit to the Castle where you can go back in time or Peasholm Park where you can take a walk or take a trip on a rowing boat or pedalo on the lake or sit and enjoy the famous naval battles. Alternatively, you can sit and listen to one of the various bands or concerts which are performed at Peasholm Park throughout the summer.
Family Attractions & Tours
The Scarborough Sea Life centre is a great place to visit for both adults and children alike. A trip on the open top bus around the Marine Drive will show you the harbour and marina in the South Bay. Or you could visit the Spa complex where there is entertainment both day and night throughout the year.
Theatre
In the evening, there is the Futurist Theatre offering a variety of shows often from international stars and then there is the Stephen Joseph Theatre, made famous by Alan Ayckborne.
Sporting Events
On the sporting scene, if cricket is your game there is a festival once a year at the North Marine Road ground. This is only a few minutes walk away and you can watch Yorkshire take on teams from around the country. As these games are very popular, early reservations are essential.
Golfing Breaks – golfers can use Scarborough as a base to play both North and South Cliff courses but within easy commuting distance to Whitby, Filey and Bridlington all of which are fantastic courses. More details on these courses can be found on the following links:

North York Moors National Park and the surrounding area
There are also many places of interest to visit in the surrounding area, The North York Moors visiting Goathland were the TV series Heart Beat is filmed, Pickering and it’s famous steam railway, Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay all being popular with walkers and cyclists. We do offer secure parking for both cycles and motorbikes.
